Artist's Description

The inspiration for this painting came form the bright sunlight and dark rain clouds. One springtime just before a sever Texas storm was about to hit the Dallas Fort Worth area. I grabbed my camera and took some quick photos from my backyard. After reviewing my photos the most striking thing to me was the contrast of sunlight and dark clouds in the distance. My goal in this painting to create a strong light and dark contrast.

I was born in Fort Worth, TX. At the early age of seven I realized I had a GOD given ability to draw. I have never received any formal training, I just have a natural ability to draw. After high school, I received an education in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Dallas were I earned an Associates Degree. I've worked in different segments of the graphics arts industry for many years. My experience ranges from graphic design to computer animation. But my true love is fine art.
