It's extremely amazing that inspiration can be found everywhere when you truly look. The inspiration for this Prickly Pear Cactus Painting came on a Sunday morning while driving to church. While driving though a small quiet neighborhood out of the corner of my eye I seen a large cluster of prickly pear cactus's growing against a weathered wooden fence. Slammed on my brakes put my car into reverse, quickly got out, took a few quick photos with my cell phone and this prickly pear cactus painting was the end result.

I was born in Fort Worth, TX. At the early age of seven I realized I had a GOD given ability to draw. I have never received any formal training, I just have a natural ability to draw. After high school, I received an education in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Dallas were I earned an Associates Degree. I've worked in different segments of the graphics arts industry for many years. My experience ranges from graphic design to computer animation. But my true love is fine art.
