Artist's Description
The inspiration for this painting Barn Door came from an old barn that I found while walking the woods of a small town in CaneyCity Texas. It wasn't much of anything left on the property but tall weeds and bushes. The brightness of the sunlight is what I remember most exploring that area on that day. My main goal in painting Barn Door was to capture the light and shadow on the side of the barn.

I was born in Fort Worth, TX. At the early age of seven I realized I had a GOD given ability to draw. I have never received any formal training, I just have a natural ability to draw. After high school, I received an education in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Dallas were I earned an Associates Degree. I've worked in different segments of the graphics arts industry for many years. My experience ranges from graphic design to computer animation. But my true love is fine art.
